Florida campaign finance law has a loophole thanks to 30+ years of the REP party:
– Contribution Limits: Individuals, political action committees (PACs), and parties can contribute up to $3,000 to a candidate per election cycle.
– The loophole: Independent organizations can spend unlimited amounts of money on campaign advertisements, as long as they do not coordinate with a candidate’s campaign (as if that is properly checked)!
The DEM party will fix this broken system to make sure your vote does not drown in corporate interests.
